DESCRIPTION

Hexarelin is a synthetic growth hormone-releasing peptide (GHRP) that stimulates the release of growth hormone (GH) from the pituitary gland. As a potent GH secretagogue, it promotes increased GH levels in the body, which may lead to enhanced muscle growth, improved recovery, increased fat metabolism, and potential anti-aging benefits.

The product is supplied as a sterile, lyophilized powder to be reconstituted before administration.

PHARMACOLOGICAL PROPERTIES

Mechanism of Action: Hexarelin binds to growth hormone secretagogue receptors (GHS-R) in the pituitary gland, leading to increased secretion of growth hormone. This helps stimulate anabolic processes such as muscle growth, fat loss, and recovery. It also interacts with the hypothalamus and pituitary axis to modulate GH release.

Pharmacokinetics:

• Absorption: Rapidly absorbed after subcutaneous or intramuscular injection.
• Distribution: Hexarelin distributes widely in the body, particularly in muscle and liver tissues.
• Metabolism: Primarily metabolized in the liver.

INDICATIONS

Hexarelin is indicated for:

Growth Hormone Deficiency: Used to stimulate the natural release of growth hormone in individuals with deficiencies or reduced production.

Muscle Mass and Strength: Enhances muscle mass, strength, and recovery in individuals engaged in resistance training.

Fat Loss and Metabolism: Increases fat metabolism and may promote fat loss.

Potential Anti-Aging Benefits: Investigated for its role in combating age-related declines in GH production.

DOSAGE AND ADMINISTRATION

Dosage:

• Standard Dosing: Inject 100 mcg to 200 mcg of Hexarelin subcutaneously or intramuscularly once or twice daily. Dosage may vary based on the individual’s response and goals.
• Cycle Duration: Typical cycles last 8 to 12 weeks, followed by an off-cycle period to allow for receptor recovery.

Administration:

1. Reconstitute the lyophilized powder with 1 to 2 ml of bacteriostatic water.
2. Administer via subcutaneous or intramuscular injection.
3. Rotate injection sites to avoid localized irritation.

Reconstitution:

• Reconstitute the powder with bacteriostatic water and store the solution in the refrigerator.
• Use within 14 days after reconstitution.

CONTRAINDICATIONS

• Hypersensitivity: Contraindicated in individuals with known hypersensitivity to Hexarelin or any of its components.
• Pregnancy and Breastfeeding: Not recommended for use in pregnant or breastfeeding women.

WARNINGS AND PRECAUTIONS

1. Cardiovascular Effects: Hexarelin may cause an increase in prolactin and cortisol levels, which could potentially affect cardiovascular function in susceptible individuals. Caution is advised for those with pre-existing heart conditions.

2. Pituitary Desensitization: Prolonged use of Hexarelin may lead to pituitary desensitization, reducing the effectiveness of the peptide over time. Cycling the use of Hexarelin is recommended to maintain effectiveness.

3. Risk of Edema: Hexarelin may cause fluid retention, leading to swelling (edema) in certain individuals, especially at higher doses.

ADVERSE REACTIONS

Common side effects:

• Mild swelling or water retention
• Numbness or tingling in extremities
• Increased cortisol or prolactin levels

Serious adverse effects:

• Cardiovascular Changes: Hexarelin may elevate cortisol and prolactin levels, which can affect heart health.

INTERACTIONS

• GH Modulators: Use of other growth hormone-modulating drugs may interfere with the action of Hexarelin. Concurrent use should be monitored closely.
• Steroid Use: Caution is advised when used in combination with anabolic steroids or other performance-enhancing drugs, as this can affect hormone levels.

USE IN SPECIFIC POPULATIONS

Pregnancy and Lactation: The safety of Hexarelin during pregnancy or lactation has not been established. Its use is not recommended in these populations.

Pediatric Use: Hexarelin is not intended for use in children or adolescents.

Geriatric Use: Older adults may benefit from Hexarelin’s anti-aging effects, but dosing should be monitored closely due to potential cardiovascular effects.

OVERDOSAGE

Symptoms of overdose may include excessive water retention, joint pain, and significantly elevated cortisol or prolactin levels. If overdose occurs, discontinue use and seek medical advice.

STORAGE

• Store the lyophilized powder at room temperature (20°C to 25°C / 68°F to 77°F).
• After reconstitution, store the solution in a refrigerator at 2°C to 8°C (36°F to 46°F) and use within 14 days.
• Protect from light and do not freeze.
• Keep out of reach of children.
