DESCRIPTION

GHRP-6 (Growth Hormone Releasing Peptide-6) is a synthetic peptide belonging to the growth hormone secretagogue class, designed to stimulate the release of growth hormone (GH) from the anterior pituitary gland. GHRP-6 binds to the ghrelin receptor and initiates a signaling cascade that leads to increased secretion of growth hormone, promoting muscle growth, fat loss, recovery, and various other physiological benefits.

The product is supplied as a sterile, lyophilized powder for reconstitution prior to use.

PHARMACOLOGICAL PROPERTIES

Mechanism of Action: GHRP-6 works by mimicking ghrelin, a natural hunger-stimulating hormone, binding to the growth hormone secretagogue receptor (GHS-R1a) in the hypothalamus and pituitary gland. This interaction triggers an increase in the production and secretion of endogenous growth hormone, which plays a crucial role in tissue repair, muscle growth, fat metabolism, and overall anabolism.

Pharmacokinetics:

• Absorption: GHRP-6 is rapidly absorbed following subcutaneous or intramuscular injection.
• Distribution: After absorption, GHRP-6 is distributed systemically to target the pituitary gland and induce GH release.

INDICATIONS

GHRP-6 is indicated for:

DOSAGE AND ADMINISTRATION

Dosage:

• Typical Dosing: 100 mcg to 300 mcg injected subcutaneously or intramuscularly, 2-3 times daily. For optimal results, GHRP-6 should be administered on an empty stomach.
• Athletic Performance: Doses may vary based on individual goals, ranging from 100 mcg to 500 mcg daily, typically split into multiple doses.

Administration:

Reconstitute the lyophilized powder with bacteriostatic water. Carefully inject the water into the vial and swirl gently until the powder is fully dissolved.

Inject the solution subcutaneously or intramuscularly.

Rotate injection sites to minimize the risk of local irritation.

Reconstitution:

• Reconstitute each 10 mg vial with 2 ml of bacteriostatic water (if supplied).
• Once reconstituted, the solution should be stored in the refrigerator and used within 7 days.

CONTRAINDICATIONS

• Hypersensitivity: Contraindicated in patients with known hypersensitivity to GHRP-6 or any of its components.
• Active Cancer or Tumor Growth: Growth hormone can stimulate tumor proliferation, and GHRP-6 should not be used in individuals with known or suspected malignancies.

4. Cardiovascular Monitoring: Caution is advised in individuals with cardiovascular disease, as growth hormone secretagogues can influence blood pressure and fluid balance.

5. Hypersensitivity Reactions: Monitor for allergic reactions such as rash, hives, or swelling, especially at the injection site.

ADVERSE REACTIONS

Common side effects:

• Increased appetite
• Localized reactions at the injection site (pain, redness, or swelling)

• Mild dizziness or fatigue

Serious adverse effects:

• Hyperglycemia: Elevated blood sugar levels, especially in patients with pre-existing diabetes or insulin resistance.

INTERACTIONS

• Insulin or Antidiabetic Medications: GHRP-6 may affect blood sugar levels. Patients on antidiabetic treatments should monitor their glucose levels carefully.
• Steroids or Growth Hormone Analogues: Co-administration with anabolic steroids or GH analogues may enhance anabolic effects but may also increase the risk of adverse reactions.

USE IN SPECIFIC POPULATIONS

Pregnancy and Lactation: GHRP-6 is contraindicated in pregnant or breastfeeding women due to potential adverse effects on fetal or neonatal development.

Pediatric Use: GHRP-6 is not recommended for use in children unless specifically prescribed by a healthcare provider due to its effects on the natural growth axis.

Geriatric Use: Elderly individuals may benefit from GHRP-6 therapy for anti-aging purposes, but caution is advised due to potential cardiovascular or metabolic side effects.

OVERDOSAGE

STORAGE

Store the lyophilized powder at controlled room temperature (20°C to 25°C / 68°F to 77°F).
