DESCRIPTION

Nandrolone Phenylpropionate 100 mg is an injectable anabolic steroid containing nandrolone, a synthetic derivative of testosterone. It is formulated as an oil-based solution for intramuscular injection. Nandrolone Phenylpropionate (NPP) is known for its rapid action and shorter half-life compared to Nandrolone Decanoate. It promotes lean muscle growth, increases red blood cell production, and enhances recovery, making it popular in bodybuilding and for medical uses where quick effects are needed.

PHARMACOLOGICAL PROPERTIES

Mechanism of Action: Nandrolone binds to androgen receptors, stimulating protein synthesis, increasing nitrogen retention, and promoting muscle growth. It enhances red blood cell production, improving oxygen-carrying capacity and muscle endurance.

INDICATIONS

Nandrolone Phenylpropionate 100 mg is indicated for:

Treatment of muscle-wasting conditions: To preserve lean muscle mass in patients with chronic debilitating diseases (e.g., HIV/AIDS, cancer).

Adjunct therapy in osteoporosis: To increase bone density in postmenopausal women.

Anemia management: Due to its ability to stimulate erythropoiesis (red blood cell production).

Performance enhancement: Used in bodybuilding and athletics to increase muscle mass, strength, and recovery.

DOSAGE AND ADMINISTRATION

Dosage:

• Medical Use (Muscle Wasting, Osteoporosis): 50–100 mg every 1–2 weeks, as directed by the healthcare provider.
• Anabolic/Bodybuilding Use: Common doses range from 100 mg to 200 mg every other day. Dosage may vary depending on the user’s goals, experience, and tolerance.

Administration:

• Administer via deep intramuscular injection, typically into the gluteal muscle or other large muscle groups. Rotate injection sites regularly to avoid localized irritation. Inject the oily solution slowly to minimize discomfort.

CONTRAINDICATIONS

ADVERSE REACTIONS

2. Insulin and Oral Antidiabetics: Nandrolone can affect glucose metabolism and may require adjustments to insulin or oral antidiabetic medication dosages.

3. Corticosteroids: The concurrent use of corticosteroids with nandrolone may increase the risk of fluid retention and electrolyte disturbances.

USE IN SPECIFIC POPULATIONS

Pregnancy and Lactation: Nandrolone Phenylpropionate is contraindicated in pregnant and breastfeeding women due to its potential teratogenic effects (Pregnancy Category X).

Pediatric Use: Not recommended for use in children or adolescents, as it may interfere with normal growth and cause premature closure of the growth plates (epiphyseal closure).

Geriatric Use: Elderly patients may be at higher risk for adverse effects, particularly related to cardiovascular health and liver function. Use with caution in this population.

OVERDOSAGE

There is no specific antidote for nandrolone overdose. In case of overdose, provide supportive care and symptomatic treatment. Monitor liver and cardiovascular function closely.
